ABOUT TAYLOR ENGLE ANDERSON

I've always wanted to be a writer.

I began my career with "Engle Family" newsletters, short fictional stories starring my loved ones, and a crayon-illustrated novel about my two fish and beloved cat Casey. I've remained most inspired to write about those who spread joy with their own unique, beautiful light.

What I didn't expect was for my writing skills to translate to public relations and marketing: a big-picture approach to storytelling that I've fallen in love with over the past decade. I actively work against the industry-wide preconception of journalism and marketing/PR never intersecting, proudly wearing both hats and using my cross-experience to identify and contextualize the passion seated at the core of every project I touch.

From fashion, sports, and music to plant medicine, architecture, and web3, I have over 10 years of experience working with a variety of brands, companies, and concepts that share one unifying, moving thread: the energetic power of humanity, and the need to share what they know in a way that resonates. I’ve written for a diverse array of newspapers, magazines, blogs, websites, brands, companies, and artists; I’ve also had the privilege of providing PR coverage for actors, musicians, artists, and architects, capturing the essence of their work with words.

I’ve published one novel and am currently in the process of publishing my second, which will be my first work of long-form fiction. I’m also deep into working on my third novel. Writing continues to fuel my soul, and I’m excited for the journey ahead.

In addition to my writing and PR work, I’m an acting board member for the Scary Plants Foundation, a cause that’s close to my heart. In my limited free time, I love teaching dance—whether it’s Afro Beats, Belly Dance, Latin Ballroom, or Cardio Fitness, movement is another way I connect with the world around me.

For raw, emotive, unabashed storytelling, you've come to the right place.
